	January 21, 2006 Annual Bob's Hawaiian-Style Chicken Sale - Central Middle School Fundraisers: Lunalilo Elementary School & Hawaii Baptist Academy Interact Club Tickets are available to Rotarians, Rotaractors and Lunalilo Elementary School to generate additional gift-giving sales during the holidays. This Fundraiser is a great combination of fellowship and community service. As in previous years, all profits from the Lunalilo Elementary Scholl and Interact club tickets will go directly to them after GTE taxes have been paid by our Treasurer. All members were given 15 tickets @ $8 face value, for a total of $120. Each member determines if their profits will be applied to annual HRYF or Rotary Foundation. Volunteers needed for 2 shifts: 8 AM to 10:30 AM and 10:30 AM to 1 PM. We'll donate any unclaimed chickens to the non-profit organization Aloha Harvest. They will pick up the unclaimed chickens at 1:30 pm in a refrigerated truck. This is very helpful since we won't have to deal with liability issues resulting from spoilage and it should satisfy the Department of Health. Wear your Rotary Club of Ala Moana T-shirts...

	January 6, 2006 - Rotary International News Rotary's float in the 2006 Rose Parade survived the California rains over New Year's weekend to bring the "Magic of Caring" message to millions of television viewers around the world. Since 1980, Rotary has entered a float in the famous Tournament of Roses parade as a way to raise awareness and promote the organization. Every year, the float is entirely funded by Rotarian donations and decorated by volunteers who are a part of the worldwide Rotary family, including Interactors, Rotaractors and scholarship recipients.
